Having taken the first lead, Clausthal seemed to have forgotten their first loss versus Heidelberg. But after two crazy goals and a discutable penalty shot, they were 1:3 back. Bad luck, as they also could not take a penalty shot for themselves at the end of the first half. Clausthal had several chances resulting from individual strength of their players, but very often those chances were wasted. At the end the "Brockenhexen" did not seem to have the tools to turn a match.
