Pixbo Wallenstam - Warbergs IC 85 8:9 SD (4:1,3:5,1:2,0:1)

Wow! 933 spectators, about half of them from Warberg made this match a very special one for me, especially compared to German matches. Even just the players warming up showed me that this is a totally different sport from the one we call "Unihockey" - Sweden plays floorball!
Both teams showed much respect to each other and played quite carefully during the first minutes. After Pixbo survived their first short-handed situation, they scored their first goal. After eleven minutes, Pixbo scored a wonderful goal: the ball was thrown off by goalie Joakim Ågren, Martin Dahlgren passes the ball to Henrik Delborn, who just has to shoot the ball into the empty net - 2:0. Though Warberg were able to score their first one, Pixbo showed impressingly by two more goals that they controlled the first period while Warberg had too many problems with their opponents' well-doing defense.
After two defensive mistakes leading to the 4:2 and 5:3 goals, Ågren, who looked slightly injured on his back, was substituted by Håkan Reit. Pixbo seemed to get back control of the match scoring their sixth goal after surviving a two minute bench penalty, but Warberg, who gave Niklas Nyman substituting tall Pierre Götesson a chance in the goalcage, managed to tie the score until 38:21. This upset the crowds in the arena completely, the Warberg people were cheering at their team. A boxplay mistake made the "Red foxes" get back the lead again. What a great period with eight goals! Warberg was back in the match.
Reit was very unlucky after five minutes in third period letting an easy ball by Svensson slip through. Warberg got the 7-8 lead short-handed, but, Pixbo tied the score in power play. After that, no more goals were scored, but the match was incedibly thrilling.
Tied score after 60 minutes - that is Overtime in Sweden! After one minute, Pixbo was given a free shot in a good position, but made a very bad ball going directly to Warberg's Wahmann who sent Karl-Johan Karlsson. Karlsson managed to beat Reit on a one-on-one situation and gave Warberg the victory.
Pixbo did not manange to take all of their chances, lost control of the match and did too many defensive mistakes. Warberg was very consequent in making their chances, so they were not the undeserved winner of that match.
