187 spectators, a match taking place in a sports complex with a music fair in the arena next to it, this match was much more "German" than the Pixbo match the day before. Of course, RBK was the definite underdog versus the leading team from Balrog.
The much RBK was the underdog in this match, the more the crowd was amused about their home team leading 2-0 after five minutes. Balrog gave them two chances for fast breaks and were punished for it. They got better afterwards, but it took them until the 18th minute to score for the first time. The lead after 20 minutes was definitely correct with RBK not playing like a team going to second division the next season.
The second period started with many chances for both teams, but Balorg scored twice in the tenth and eleventh minute giving them a 3-2 lead. Short before period break RBK's Lindgren was sent off with a match penalty. They had several chances to tie the score, but could not manage to shoot the ball in the net.
The hosts survived the short-handed situation, but shortly afterwards their fantastic goalie got beaten for the fourth time. The match was great going up and down all the time and RBK wasting their chances, while Balrog decided the match in the 57th minute scoring the 5-2 goal.
The Gothenburg team was not honored for a great fight, Balrog was too strong for them. Nevertheless, this has been a really good match.
