Kloten/Bülach Jets - GC Zurich 6:15 (1:4, 4:5, 1:7)

What a great finish for the unihockey-pics.de/sport-live.net Switzerland tour 2004: the Kloten-Bülach Jets faced the Grasshoppers from nearby Zurich in a regional battle. The GC Zurich also played with Mark Wolf, the famous Swiss goalie, and maybe the best floorball player of these days, Niclas Jihde. But on the other hand, everybody expected the Jets, who were last in the standings, to loose very badly.
But the match started with a tiny sensation by the Jets shooting the first goal after three minutes. You can describe the rest of the match as follows: especially in first and second half, the hosts fought an fantastic fight and doing everything they could to keep in this game. But there were two things that made them loose: first, they were playing too hard and got too many bench penalties - which nearly all were taken by the great passing Zurich team. And there was one man who nearly seemed to be unbeatable that day: Niclas Jihde. A fantastic match by the Swedish national player, who scored and assisted so many goals. There were some situations in which you could imagine the Jets to have a chance to come back. But then, Jihde was on the field and destroyed every tiny dream of the Kloten-Bülach Jets.
In third period, you could really see that the Jets just were out of power. Jihde and his team played on to complete the 16-6 score in a great match. In the end, the spectators cheered on both teams - the Jets for their great spirit and the Zurich team for a wonderful match.
