Arvind Parmar (GBR) - Dennis van Scheppingen (NED) 6:4 7:6(3) (Page 2)

Both players started with good serves giving the opponent no chance to break. Surprisingly, van Scheppingen was 15-40 behind at own serve at 2-2. Arvind wasted both chances but after Ad server twice, he broke him. He served extremely well, no chance for the Dutch guy to come back. Van Scheppingen started bad in second set, but Arvind could not manage to win the break point and was broken at own serve, so the first seeded was 2-0 in front. All the games were very straight, no chance for the returner, so at 5-3, serve van Scheppingen, everybody expected a third set to start soon. But it was 0-40, Arvind took the first break point and came back. After a medical time out for DvS, Arvind managed to fight back from 0-30 at own serve. Both served well again, so it was tie-break-time. AP started with a good return and a "tiny break" into the tie-breaker. He did very well, lead 6-1 in tie break and took his third match point (first one at own serve). Arvind surprised me controlling the match and showing extremely well serves. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet him after the match to tell him about the advantages of playing for the Indian flag *smile*
